Please read these terms before placing an order with The Art Effects. By placing an order you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms.
These terms govern all orders placed with The Art Effects, a custom CNC cutting and delivery service based in Pune, Maharashtra, India (GSTIN 27AHBPM3635R1ZU).
We cut raw material precisely to your specifications and deliver it to your door. We do not paint, polish, finish or install. Installation is carried out by your own carpenter or contractor.
All prices are in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. A quote is valid for 7 days; after that, material rates may change and the quote may be revised. The price shown is the full, all-inclusive price for the specification quoted.
A 70% advance confirms your order and locks the production slot. The remaining 30% balance is payable before dispatch. Orders are not dispatched until the balance is cleared. Online payments are processed securely through Razorpay.
Every piece is cut to your specification and cannot be resold. You may cancel your order free of charge any time before you approve the design drawing. Once the drawing is approved and cutting begins, the order cannot be cancelled and the advance is not refundable. These cancellation terms cover changes of mind — if a finished piece is not cut correctly or is defective, our guarantee applies instead (a free remake or a full refund, your choice). For custom work we share a drawing for your approval. Once you approve it, that is exactly what we cut. Any change requested after approval is treated as a chargeable revision or a new order.
You are responsible for the dimensions you provide. Finished pieces are cut to a ±2 mm dimensional tolerance, which is standard for CNC work; variation within this range is not a defect. Re-cuts required because of incorrect measurements supplied by you are chargeable.
Natural materials vary in grain, colour and texture between batches. Such variation is normal and is not considered a defect.
If you upload your own design, you confirm that you own it or have the right to use it. You are responsible for any third-party intellectual-property claim arising from a design you supply, and you agree to indemnify The Art Effects against such claims.
Stated lead times are estimates. They are counted from the day after design approval and exclude Sundays. Delays caused by material supply, transport or other events beyond our reasonable control are not a breach of these terms. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Delivery is made to the ground-floor entrance of the building at the address you provide. Carrying material to upper floors is your arrangement. Someone must be available at the site contact number to receive the delivery; a failed delivery may incur a re-attempt charge. We currently deliver only in and around Pune (pincodes beginning 41).
If a piece is cut wrong or defective (it does not match the drawing you approved, or has a genuine manufacturing defect), that is always our responsibility — we will remake and re-ship it free, or give a full refund, no questions asked. We photograph every order against your approved drawing before dispatch.
Transit damage must be checked on the day of delivery. Delivery is by a third-party courier, and a finished piece moves onto a busy site handled by several agencies. Please inspect the parcel on delivery and report any transit damage the same day, before the end of the delivery day, with photographs of the packaging exactly as received. Reported this way, transit damage on an order with Transit Damage Protection is put right with a free remake. Once the delivery day has passed or the piece has been moved into the site and handled, transit-damage claims close, as damage can no longer be distinguished from on-site handling. Our liability in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order.
Trade pricing is granted on application and review. The Art Effects may review, change or withdraw trade status at its discretion.
All content on this website and our other sites and tools — including the design, layout, graphics, photographs, text, logos, and underlying code — is owned by The Art Effects or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Without our prior written consent, you may not copy, reproduce, republish or create derivative works from any part of it; use bots, scrapers or AI systems to access, copy, replicate or reconstruct the site, its design or its tools; frame, mirror or clone it; reverse-engineer our tools; or use our name, logo or trademarks. We monitor for unauthorised copying and reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.
